Foundation Announces First Hogan Entrepreneurial Award

In keeping with the Foundation’s renewed commitment to entrepreneurialism, the first annual Hogan Entrepreneurial Award will be presented this fall. The Hogans have announced that they would like to annually honor an individual who best embodies the attributes of a successful entrepreneur. The individual chosen to receive this award will be honored at a dinner to be held in the fall of 04 in the new wing of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

“Today’s youth need role models and mentors to help them believe that all things are possible and that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things”, said Ed Hogan, Foundation Chairman. “Lynn and I hope to honor an individual who best represents the entrepreneurial spirit. We hope to bring together the fields of education and business to recognize an outstanding individual whose successes can shine as a beacon for others to follow. I believe the greatest contribution we can make is to encourage today’s young people to have the passion and courage to create a better future for our world. We need to draw attention to those who have been successful to serve as inspiration.”

The honoree is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
